Test guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The particle size analysis test was performed in accordance to a test procedure no. SPO/BF/24/b (ed. 4) based in CIPAC MT 187 (and ISO 13320:2020) using Coulter LS 13 320 with ULM (Universal Liquid Model).
A representative sample of the test item is dispersed at an adequate concentration in a suitable liquid, is passed through the beam of a monochromatic light source, a laser. The light
scattered by the particles at various angles is measured by a multi-element detector and numerical, values relating to the scattering pattern are then recorded for subsequent analysis. These numerical scattering values are then transformed, using an appropriate optical model and mathematical procedure, to yield the proportion of total volume to a discrete number of size classes forming a volumetric particle size distribution.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The average measured absolute density at 20 ºC temperature was 1.7320 g/ml
The average calculated relative density at 20 ºC temperature was 1.7320.
Executive summary:

The average measured absolute density at 20 ºC temperature was 1.7320 g/ml

The average calculated relative density at 20 ºC temperature was 1.7320.

Determination of density was carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure SPO/BF/01/b (ed. 6) based on OECD 109 “Density of Liquids and Solids”.

The volume of the Gay-Lussac pycnometer (ISO 3507:1999) was measured using Standard Water of purity 3 (ISO 3696: 1999) of a defined density (ISO 649/2 E).

The test was performed at 20 °C temperature. The density is calculated by dividing the weight of the tested material by its volume in immersing liquid (the tested material was found to be insoluble in tert-butyl methyl ether MTBE). The average of two measurements which were within the range of the estimated accuracy will be considered.
