Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The test substance could be considered persistent as the test material attained 6% degradation after 28 days and therefore can be considered not readily biodegradable.

The substance has a log P of 2.55 and is therefore not likely to bioaccumulate. The test substance is also not considered toxic based on ecotoxicity results and lack of chronic health hazard classification.

Likely routes of exposure:

The substance is a solvate and therefore the fuagcity modelling using EpiWin could not be completed for the substance as a solvate. However, the substance has a very low vapor pressure which precludes a signficant portion to the air compartment.(<5%) The substance is moderately soluble and has a log kow of 2.55. Therefore, it can be estimated that the substance will likely partition to the soil compartment (60-80%) with a smaller likelihood to the water and sediment. (15 -25%).
