Description of key information

The potential for hydrolysis of Ocimene PQ was determined according to an OECD 111 guideline study. The Ocimene PQ exceeded 10% degradation when stored for 5 days at 50°C and at a pH 4, 7 and 9. Therefore, it is hydrolytically not stable at 50 ºC.

The ready biodegradation of Ocimene PQ was determined in a Manometric test system according to OECD guideline 301F.The degradation rate of Ocimene PQ never reached 60%. Therefore, Ocimene PQ is considered to be not readily biodegradable.

The log Koc of Ocimene PQ was determined using HPLC according to OECD TG 121. The Log Koc was determined to be 3.38.
