Description of key information
The permanganic acid is only stable in an aqueous solution. The permanganic acid is manufactured and used in an aqueous solution (3 -5 wt-%).
Both the isolated permanganic acid and the aqueous solution of permanganic acid have a violet colour. They only differed in the colour intensity.
