Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
column elution method
Key result
Water solubility:
1.15 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6 - <= 6.8
Details on results:
In a pre- test for solubility, performed during validation, the solubility of the test item in water was estimated as < 10 mg/L.
The column elution method was used for the determination of the solubility of the test item in water.
Quartz sand was mixed with test item and filled into an empty HPLC column with very fine mesh from inox on both sides.
A flow rate of 24.7 mL/h was set. After discarding the first column eluate, six consecutive fractions were collected and measured. The variation of the test item concentration in the fractions was less than 30 %, and no upward tendency was observed. Therefore, the plateau was considered as reached.
A second run with a flow rate of 12.6 mL/h was performed likewise.
Conclusions:
Water solubility of the substance found to be 1.15 ± 0.08 mg/L at 20 ± 0.5 °C
Executive summary:

Water solubility of the substance found to be 1.15 ± 0.08 mg/L at 20 ± 0.5 °C
