Comments:

This was a limit test conducted at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. Exposure solutions were prepared as for the fish test, see 5.1.01. No significant inhibition of growth was observed. The analytical limit of quatification was higher than for the acute fish and daphnia tests, at 0.18 mg/L. Test substance concentrations were below the analytical limit of quantification at 0 and 72 hours. By comparison with the acute fish and Daphnis tests it can be assumed that measured concentrations were < 0.00613 mg/L.

Since no significant growth inhibition was observed,

96h EC50 > limit of solubility

96h NOEC > or = limit of solubility
