Specific details on test material used for the study:
- Source and lot/batch No.of test material: 53715080
- Storage condition of test material: Room temperature in the dark
Analytical method:
high-performance liquid chromatography
Key result
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
ca. 28.7
Temp.:
30 °C
pH:
ca. 5.7
Details on results:
The result from the preliminary estimate indicated that the HPLC method was suitable for determination of the partition coefficient. As the test item does not contain any modes of dissociation, testing was performed at approximately neutral pH with the test item in a non-ionized form. The main component in the chromatography was determined to be approximately 88% by area percentage normalization This is consistent with the test item being a mono-constituent and as such, the partition coefficient of the main peak has been reported.
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the test item has been determined to be 28.7, log10 Pow 1.46.

Description of key information
