Due to the viscous nature of the test item it was degassed for one hour. It was then allowed to stand for over 48 hours before being degassed for a further 2 hours. After allowing the test item to cool, it was weighed; the immersion liquid was added and then reweighed.

Conclusions:
The relative density of the test item was 0.995.

Description of key information

The relative density of the substance was determined using the pycnometer method in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 109 and EU Method A.3 (K1, Dekra, 2018) and was found to be 0.995.
