Specific details on test material used for the study:
In this experimental study only the densities of solutions of Potassium lactate with different concentrations in water have been determined. Crystalline Potassium lactate is hygroscopic and extremely difficult to isolate, thus only manufactured and marketed as a concentrated aqueous solution.
The concentrations of the Potassium lactate solutions are 1 %, 2 %, 5 %, 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, 40 %, 50 %, 60 %, 70 % and 78 %.
