The flash point is given as the mean value of the duplicate determination. The measured flash point is therefore 126.5°C (corresponding to 399.7 K).

The difference between the two values which were measured was below 2 K. For this reason, the determination was considered valid.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The flashpoint of Bis[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]adipateis stated as 126.5 °C(corresponding to 399.7 K).
This value is the mean value of two independent determinations.
Executive summary:

First, a safety test was performed. A small amount of the test item was heated in a test tube in an aluminium block with a Bunsen burner. A boiling was observed at approx. 320 °C. No signs for decomposition or polymerisation were observed. Then, a pre-test and a main test with two experiments were performed using a flashpoint tester. The flashpoint of Bis[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]adipate is stated as 126.5 °C (corresponding to 399.7 K). This value is the mean value of two independent determinations.
