Additional information

Docosyl stearate (CAS 22413-03-2) is characterized by a low water solubility of < 0.504 mg/L, a low potential for volatilization (vapour pressure < 0.0001 Pa) and a high log Koc of > 5. Based on these values the substance is expected to partition mainly to the sediment and soil compartment if released to the environment. However, due to the ready biodegradability, the substance will not persist in these compartments.
