VALIDATION:

The linearity of the detector response with respect to concentration was assessed over the nominal concentration range of 5.23 to 41.8 mglL for organic and aqueous treatment methods.

These were satisfactory with correlation coefficients of 0.997 and 0.993 being obtained respectively.

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the test item has been determined to be 5.73 x 10-2 at 21.6 ± 1.0 °C, log10 Pow -1.24 at pH 11.6.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test item has been determined to be 5.73 x 10 E -2 at 21.6 ± 1.0 °C, Log10 Pow -1.24 at pH 11.6, using the shake-flask method, designed to be compatible with Method A.8 Partition Coefficient of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 107 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.
