Reference
Endpoint:
long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
Type of information:
experimental study planned
Justification for type of information:
NON-CONFIDENTIAL NAME OF SUBSTANCE:
- Name of the substance on which testing is proposed to be carried out: tert-butylperoxy isopropyl carbonate

CONSIDERATIONS THAT THE GENERAL ADAPTATION POSSIBILITIES OF ANNEX XI OF THE REACH REGULATION ARE NOT ADEQUATE TO GENERATE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION [please address all points below]:
- Available GLP studies: No GLP study is available for this endpoint
- Available non-GLP studies: No non-GLP study is available for this endpoint, only a non-GLP first brood screening study is available that can be used as range finder.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON TESTING PROPOSAL IN ADDITION TO INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE MATERIALS AND METHODS SECTION:
- Details on study design / methodology proposed: OECD 211 with Daphnia magna
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 211 (Daphnia magna Reproduction Test)

Description of key information

A first brood screening study has been performed. The study was not performed under GLP and can be used as range finding study for the definitive OECD 211 study.

Chemical analyses were performed. The endpoint is based on time weighted mean measured concentrations. No effects were seen up to the highest test concentration of 0.63 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
