Description of key information
The test item for the new studies performed in view of REACH registration (physicochemical, ecotoxicity and toxicity tests performed in 2016-2017) was a wet powder due to its hygroscopicity, and therefore it was technically not feasible to determine its particle size distribution.
Next to wet powder, also dry powders are manufactured by other registrants, which were communicated to have a d50 > 50 µm. Individual co-registrants will provide information on the particle size distribution of their products in the individual part of their dossiers.
