First-aid measures

General information: Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Consult a doctor if irritation develop or persist.
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air. In case of sickness or symptoms appeared consult a
physician.
After skin contact: Wash immediately effected skin area thoroughly with copious amount of
water and soap.
After eye contact: Rinse the eyes with water for at least 20 minutes with eyelids open wide.
Obtain medical, ophthalmologic attention immediately.
After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with clear water if the patient is conscious.
Consult with a physician.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Not available.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Treat symptomatically and supportively.
No specific antidote.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder, foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Unknown.

Special hazards arising from the
substance or mixture:CO, CO2, HCl

Advice for firefighters: Wear selfcontained breathing apparatus and protective clothing for firefighting.
Collect extinguishing water to prevent it from draining to the sewer system.

Fire hazard class Flammable solid

Fire and explosion hazard Combustible material. Dustair mixture may ignite or explode.
Take measures against static electricity.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear protective equipment.
Avoid airborne dust generation. If the generation of dust is likely, personal protective equipment should be worn in compliance with national legislation.

Environmental precautions: Avoid release to living waters.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Cleanup spilled material avoiding raising dust using vacuum.
Collect the material in a properly labelled container, show on the label “hazardous waste, for disposal”. Dispose the hazardous waste by incineration. Wash spill site thoroughly with water after material pickup is complete. Do not let the material and the contaminated water to sewers, drains, underground or living waters. Collect the water in a suitable container, label the container properly and dispose in a similar way to the material itself.

Handling and storage

Handling: As a general rule avoid all contact with the material.
Use protective equipment.

Safety measures: Local and general ventilation required.
Handle under extracting hood in the laboratories.
Take measures against static electricity.

Fire and explosion protection measures:
Combustible material.
Take measures against electrostatic discharges.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep in tightly closed and labelled storage containers. Keep in dry and cool
place. Protect from heat and light. Store below 25C.
