- Keep containers and surroundings cool with water spray.

- Keep product and empty container away from heat and sources of ignition.

Accidental release measures

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Advice for non-emergency personnel

- Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.

Advice for emergency responders

- Ensure adequate ventilation.

- Avoid dust formation.

- Material can create slippery conditions.

- Sweep up to prevent slipping hazard.

- Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.

- Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8.

Environmental precautions

- Should not be released into the environment.

- Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up

- Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust.

- Do not create a powder cloud by using a brush or compressed air.

- Contain spillage, pick up with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet-brushing and transfer to a container for disposal according to local regulations (see section 13).

Reference to other sections

- Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8 of SDS
