Ozone is unstable in aqueous solutions, reverting back to oxygen. Half-lives of ozone in water (pH 7, 20 °C), range in the dimension of minutes. Thus, ozone is not considered to bioaccumulate in aquatic species.

Self-decomposition and decomposition of ozone occurs when in contact with organic and inorganic material in the soil, e.g. as indicated in Choi et al (2002), see IUCLID section 5.6. Exposure of terrestrial organisms to ozone for any duration is not expected and therefore bioaccumulation is not expected.
