Conclusions:
The water solubility of n-Butyltriphenylphosphonium bromide is 22.3 g/L (20°C, pH 6.1). The water solubility was determined according to OECD guideline 105 (1995) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 260/2014, Method A.6 using the flask method at 20 ± 0.5°C with pre-incubation at 30 ± 0.5°C.

Description of key information

22.3 g/L at 20 ± 0.5°C

The pH of the aqueous sample after 72 hours stirring was 6.1.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
22.3 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
