Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Interpretation of results:
not readily biodegradable
Conclusions:
Under the test coditions Vanillylamin-HCl was degraded by 49% baeed on ThOD (NH4) after 28 days of incubation. Since biodegradation did not exceed 60% by the end of the test, the substance cannot be considered readily biodegradable.
Executive summary:

Vanillylamin-HCl was investigated for its ready biodegradability in a Closed Bottle Test over 28 days. The biodegradation was followed by the uptake of oxygen of the micro organisms during exposure. As reference aniline was tested simultaneously under the same conditions as the test system.
