Additional information

NX 8000J produced a primary irritation index of 1.5 and was classified as a mild irritant to rabbit skin according to the Draize classification scheme. No corrosive effects were noted.

NX 8000J produced a maximum group mean score of 8.0 and was classified as a mild irritant to the rabbit eye according to a modified Kay and Calandra classification system.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the irritation scores in skin and eye irritation studies, NX 8000J does not need to be classified for skin and eye irritation according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
