Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
Solvent Violet 36 is a solid which decomposes before boiling.
Executive summary:

A DTA in the range of 20 to 500°C shows and endothermic process at 215 to 240°C (melting!) and an exothermic process at 360 to 465°C which can attributed to decomposition. No endothermic process attributed to boiling point can be seen.

Description of key information

Solvent Violet 36 is a solid which decomposes before boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Thermal decomposition begins at a temperature of 360°C (method: DTA, heating rate 3 k/min) (Drafz 2018). Up to this point there is no hint for a boiling in the temperature heat/flow diagram. Solvent Violet 36 has no boiling point up to the beginning of the decomposition.
