- The density values of water and Methoxy-tetraline are very close to each other (1.000 and 1.012 g/cm3) so the separation of their emulsion by centrifugation has a low efficiency. The Methoxy-tetraline is very degradable in aqueous solution, its half-life period is 31.7 h. On the bases of the above mentioned considerations the water solubility of Methoxytetraline is given as a concentration range: 0.02425 – 0.04095 g/L. This concentration range was determined by expert judgement according to the measured concentration values.
