Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A limit test was performed on Acid Black 210 showing a NOEC > 120 mg/l. The study has been presented to ECHA in the framework of a notification and the summary received is lacking of many information.

Another study (Synthesia, 1996) was performed on Acid Black 210 potassium salt testing different concentrations that allowed the extrapolation of a more realistic values for LC50, equal to 1890 mg/l and LC0, >1600 mg/l.

The results of the two studies are consistent and STAHL results have been chosen for CSA as performed on the registered substance and more conservative.
