Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

All ecotoxicological studies performed with THEIC indicate a very low toxicological profile of this substance. In all tests THEIC did not show any effects at the highest recommended concentrations tested. Since the substance based on its high water solubility and low octanol-water partition coefficient does not have a tendency to adsorption on sediment and soil and because of the general low toxicity further testing with sediment or soil organisms is not proposed.

Conclusion on classification

The results of all ecotoxicological tests do not warrant any classification with regard to environmental hazards according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.
