Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Supporting information in the form of and EPIWIN estimation was provided, however, this is not validated for organometallic substances and the data should be used with caution :
EPISuite v4.0 - KOCWIN version 2.00.
The data was assigned a reliability score of 4.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with annex XI of the REACH regulation EC 1907/2006 and advice form a qualified testing laboratory who have performed preliminary investigations into the substance's behaviour, testing of the substance for this endpoint is considered to be technically not feasible due to the substance interfering with the test equipment (HPLC). It should also be noted that the soil adsorption calculation is not validated for organometallic species.

Supporting information is available using the EPIWIN estimation model:

EPISuite v4.0 - KOCWIN version 2.00 estimates the KOC of DBTC to be 1860 L/kg based on the first order molecular connectivity index and 22.57 L/kg based on the log Kow from experimental database.
