Preliminary Testing

The thermal stability measured with DSC in the closed aluminium crucible showed an endothermic effect (boiling) in the temperature range 280 – 330 °C at 10 °C/min. No exothermal decomposition showed in the measurement range.

Additional information

The boiling point of the substance "Reaction mixture of glycerol-1,3-di(acetate), glycerol acetate and triacetin"

(EC 905-964-4) was determined according to OECD Guideline 103. The other determination of the boiling point (266.5 °C) with ASTM E 537-07 according to EPA OPPTS 830.7220 (1995), OECD-Guideline No. 103 (1995) and Method A.2 (EC 440/2008) was supporting.
