A flammability test is on going. The supportign study on simlar substance was assessed for flammability, using the EU Method A.10. The substance resulted non flammable; this conclusion can be assumed for Direct Black 22 (DBk22), because structures of both substances are analogue and the flammable properties is expected to be the same.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Direct Black 22 (DBk22) does not meet the criteria to be considered as flammable.
According to CLP regulation (EC1272/2008) DBk22 is classified as NON flammable.
