Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The key study is an German industrial standard test guideline DIN 38 412, part L15 with Leucisdus idus (BASF AG, 1989; report no. 10F0081/895105). The test substance concentrations are not analytically verified. The 96h LC50 was determined between 46.0 and 100 mg/L for non-neutralized test solutions. The effect was caused by the pH since there is no effect up to the highest concentration of 100 mg/L if the test solutions are neutralized before the test starts. Based on this result, the substance is assessed to be with high probability acutely not harmful to fish.
