Description of key information

Non flammable upon ignition.
The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases in contact with water.
The substance is not a self-reactive substance or mixture.
The substance is not a self-heating substance or mixture.
The substance is not an organic peroxide.

Additional information

According to the result of the preliminary UN N.1 test the test substance is not considered as a

flarnmable solid. The result does not lead to a classification.

Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not to be expected.

The substance or mixture does not need to be classified as self-reactive as the self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) is greater than 75 °C for a 50 kg package.

A negative result was obtained in a UN N.4 test using a 100 mm cube sample at 140°C. Because

of that, the substance is not classified as a self-heating substance.

The substance or mixture does not need to be classified as an organic peroxide as by definition based on their chemical structure the substance is no organic peroxide.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

Based on the chemical structure and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation (EC) No 605/2014., the substance is not considered to be classified as flammable upon ignition, flammable in contact with water, pyrophoric,self-reactive, self-heating or organic peroxide.
