Substance is a solid at room temperature. It is supplied into the EU as a white powder. P-PP has a high melting point (166 °C) and low vapour pressure (2.60 x 10 -4 Pa). The powder has a low percentange (1.7%) below 63 µm and consequently a very limited fraction in the respirable range.
The solubility in water is 48 mg/land the Log Kow 3.81. pKa is 9.5, P-PP does not dissociate below pH 9 (and is therefore not relevant for risk assessment). P-PP is stable in organic solvents.
