Results

The test was carried out at 98.0 kPa atmospheric pressure. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min, the boiling point of the test item was found to be 253.3 ± 0.05 °C (95 % confidence interval), i.e. 526.4 K.

The details are summarised in Table 1.

Conclusions:
The test was carried out at 98.0 kPa atmospheric pressure. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min, the boiling point of the test item was found to be 253.3 ± 0.05 °C (95 % confidence interval), i.e. 526.4 K.
Executive summary:

A study according to OECD 103 and EU Method A.2 was performed to determine the boiling point of the test item. Using the capillary method three measurements with two replicates each were conducted. The tests were carried out at 98.0 kPa atmospheric pressure. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min, the boiling point of the test item was found to be 253.3 ± 0.05 °C (95 % confidence interval), i.e. 526.4 K.

Description of key information

Using a capillary method with an electronic controlled heating system, the boiling point of the test item was determined to 253.3 ± 0.05 °C (95 % confidence interval), i.e. 526.4 K. The test was carried out at 98.0 kPa atmospheric pressure.
