Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of EEA-NH4 toDaphnia magnawas determined in a GLP-compliant study according to OECD guideline 202 (Kurume Laboratory, 2006c).

In this static limit test 20 daphnids (4 replicates of 5 animals) were exposed for 48 hours to 100 mg/L EEA-NH4 or a dilution water control (dechlorinated tap water). Immobility and other visble symptoms were observed at 24 and 48 hours after the start of exposure. The concentrations of test substance were analysed with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) at the start and end of exposure and determined at 99.0 and 99.3 percent of nominal concentration respectively.

No immobility or any other abnormal response was noticed in the test solution or control. Based on these findings, the 48-hour EC50 of EEA-NH4 forDaphnia magnawas determined to be >100 mg/L.
