This data point has been waived for dialuminium titanium pentaoxide on the grounds that microbial toxicity is unlikely to occur as the substance is highly insoluble in water and Al and Ti occur ubiquitously in the environment at relatively high levels compared to those that could potentially arise from dialuminium titanium pentaoxide. It is moreover unlikely that exposure of biological waste water treatment systems will occur. Under these circumstances, data for the toxicity of dialuminium titanium pentaoxide to microorganisms are considered unnecessary. |
