Version / remarks:
1995
Deviations:
yes
Remarks:
With respect to the test design, no phase separation via centrifugation is necessary.
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Version / remarks:
Council Regulation (EC) No. 260/2014, Method A.6 modified according to Letinski et al. (2002) and OECD 123 (2006)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:

Key result
Water solubility:
4.37 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Incubation duration:
72 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
5.6
Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 4.37 mg/L at 20°C pH 5.6.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test item was determined according to GLP, OECD guideline 105 (1995) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 260/2014, Method A.6, modified according to Letinski et al. (2002) and OECD 123 (2006). The solubility of the test item in double distilled water was determined employing the flask method with slow stirring approach at 20 ± 0.5 °C with incubation at test temperature for 72 h before the first sampling.

The analytical method (GC-MS, external standard) for the determination of the test item was validated and tested with satisfactory results in regard to linearity, accuracy, precision and specificity.

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 4.37 mg/L at 20°C pH 5.6.
