Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The bulk density of zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine is 0.936 kg/L at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.936

Additional information

While the bulk density was determined in the study the relative density was derived based on this experimental data as follows:

The relative density D204of solids or liquids is the ratio between the mass of the substance, determined at 20°C, and the mass of the same volume of water, determined at 4°C. At this temperature the density of water is 0.999975 g/cm³. To convert the density to relative density the following formula is used: D 204= pSubstance(20°C) / pWater(4°C). The relative density has no dimension.
