Description of key information

Silver chloride is an inorganic, white, cubic, crystalline, odourless powder. Silver chloride melting point was described at 455°C, a boiling point at 1547°C, a relative density is 5.56 and a water solubility of 1.9 mg/L at 25°C. Furthermore, the vapour pressure of silver chloride increases with temperature 1 Pa at 670°C, 10 Pa at 769°C, 100 Pa at 873°C, 1kPa at 1052°C, 10kPa at 1264°C, 100kPa at 1561°C. By extrapolation, it can safely be assumed that the vapour pressure of AgCl is negligible at ambient temperatures.
