Description of key information

The partition coefficient log Pow is estimated to be 1.69-1.9.

Since the study is technically not feasible, there is no experimental data for partition coefficient.

The log Pow for four constituents (C12 linear and branched, C13 linear and branched) of this substance is estimated by using KOWWIN programme v1.67a, Estimation Programs Interface Suite™ for Microsoft® Windows v 4.00. US EPA as well as ACD Labs Software (log D). Due to the postulated equal distribution of 4 single chains in the composition, arithmetic means of four outcomes are taken as boundary values: 1.69 (ACD Labs) and 1.9 (KOWWIN). Thus, log Kow= 1.69 -1.90.
