Description of key information

The density of hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics is 0.766 to 0.800 g/cm3.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Density is measured at 15 °C using ISO 12185 method. A range of 0.766 to 0.800 g/cm3 covers all possible grades within this substance description if measured with the agreed method. In a study by Total Fluides (20100) a density of 0.774 g/cm3 at 15 °C was determined for the test substance, hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics, demonstrating that measured values fall within these borderline values. Extrapolated data by Chevron Phillips Chemicals Company LP(2010) showing a range of 0.78 - 0.80 g/cm3 support this.
