Description of key information

Corrosion of metals: Key study: Method C.1 of UN Handbook. GLP study. Weight loss was <0.1% in all cases (aluminium and steel) and no localised corrosion attack could be observed. The test item was therefore classified as not corrosive.
Heat accumulation storage test: Key study: Method H.4 of UN Handbook. GLP study. During the whole test period of 11 days, no signs of self heating at 75 °C were detected. The SADT (self-accelerating decomposition temperature) of EAC3 was > 75ºC.
