First-aid measures

- Following inhalation:

Consult a doctor if disorders occur.

- Following skin contact:

Wash out with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Consult a doctor if irritation occurs.

- Following eye contact:

Rince immediately with a large quantity of water. Consult an ophthalmologist if irritation occurs.

- Following ingestion:

In case of important ingestion, consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

water, foam, fire extinguishing powder, sand.

Non combustible substance. Possible emission of gases in contact with fire : CO, CO2, SO2.

- Advice for fire fighter: Do not breathe fumes.

Wear appropriate protective equipment, clothing and self-containing breathing apparatus.

- Personal precautions / Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel away from the spillage.

In cases of large spillage, dike and contain the drainage

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up with suitable material and put in an appropriate container for the elimination.

Aerate places and wash the zone of spillage with a large amount of water.

Handling and storage

- Technical measures : Safety shower and eye fountains near the place of manipulation recommended.

Mechanical ventilation advised.

- Precautions for safe handling and use : For processes where the possibility of exposure arises, wera protective clothing : gloves and shoes.

Avoid the formation and the accumulation of dust.

Avoid any contact with eyes and skin.  

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Preserve in a fresh and dry, well ventilated place.

Do not store near strong oxidising agent.

Avoid the contact with aluminium and magnesium at high temperature.
