First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention in case of

unwellness or if exposure is prolonged.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10

minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminaed material. Wash affected area with soap

and copious amounts of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Drink plenty of water.

Seek medical advice or consult Poisson Information Center.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water mist, foam and CO2

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up promptly and place into a suitable container,

appropriately labelled, for disposal. Avoid dust by using a

water spray containing a detergent as a dust binding

material. Clean up small spills with a vacuum cleaner.

Ventilate area and wash spill site thoroughly. Dusk masks

and gloves should be used. Dispose of in accordance with

local regulations fo chemical waste.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dusting. Dust clouds from finely dispersed pigment can

be dangerous (dust explosion risk). If dust development is

possible, dust masks should be worn. Skin and eye protection

should be conform to industrial hygiene practice.

Storage: Store at room temperature in suitable labelled and sealed

containers, away from foodstuffs.

Take precautionary measures against static discharge.

Storage containers: 1.) Cardboard box with anti-static

polyethylene in-liner. 60 litre capacity. 2.) Steel drums

with conductive polyethylene in liner. 107 and 132 litre

capacity.
