Conclusions:
The submitted substance is not considered to be corrosive to metals.
Executive summary:

Justification according to the ECHA Guidance on the Application of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, page 185: Only "liquids and solids that may become liquids (during transport)" have to be considered for a CLP-classification as corrosive to metals. Solids may become liquids by melting (due to increase in temperature). "Solids having a melting point lower than 55 °C (which is the test temperature required for tests) must then be taken into consideration. The other physical way to transform a solid into liquid is by dissolution in water or another solvent."

The submitted substance has a melting point above 55 °C and it is not shipped as a solution. The practical experience during storage and shipping shows that the substance is not corrosive to stainless steel containers. The submitted substance therefore need not to be investigated for its possible corrosivity to metals.
