Description of key information

Melting occurred under decomposition starting at about 100 °C, ca. 101.325 kPa, OECD 102, DSC, Kühne 2010

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Kühne (2010) carried out a study in accordance with OECD guideline 102 to measure the melting point of the test item. According to thermal analysis (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) no clear melting point could be observed. A capillary test showed that the test item started melting under decomposition at about 100 °C. The value is selected to be carried forward for risk assessment and classification. The study is considered complete, adequate and reliable for the purpose of risk assessment and classification.
