Description of key information

1H-1,2,3-Triazole-1-acetic acid, alpha.-[dimethylamino)methylene]-, methyl ester has no explosive and deflagration properties.

Additional information

1H-1,2,3-Triazole-1-acetic acid, alpha.-[dimethylamino)methylene]-, methyl ester presents no danger of explosion when submitted to the effect of a flame, or to shock or friction. The study was performed in accordance to EU Method A.14 (Explosive properties).

Additionally, 1H-1,2,3-Triazole-1-acetic acid, alpha.-[dimethylamino)methylene]-, methyl ester has no deflagration properties when tested according to VDI 2263, Blatt 1 with glowing coil and mixture for ignition (silicon/lead dioxide at a weight ration 3:2) as ignition source. No propagation of the decomposition front was detected with the help of thermocouples.
