Screening tests for the potential to biodegrade of the analogue substance in water are available.

Biodegradation potential was tested following OECD 302B with different sludge compositions and characteristics (activated and adapted). Based on the degradation results within the range of 20 -70% in 28 days the analogue substance is considered inherently biodegradable. Based on the read across considerations the same applies to the target substance
