Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Only replicates 2 and 3 were used for calculations.

The viscous nature of the melted sample made it difficult to determine the endpoint of boiling and so several attempts were made to determine the correct value range and to confirm observations.

At temperatures higher than 270ºC there was significant darkening of the liquid substance, indicating oxidation of the test material.

Description of key information

252 °C at ca. 1013 hPa (OECD 103)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
252 °C

Additional information

For the boiling point determination, the Siwoloboff method was used.
