Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
Algae were the most sensitive aquatic species. An EC10 48h growth rate of 0.014 mg/L and an EC50 48h growth rate of 0.07 mg/l were determined.

In the ECHA registration dossier for chloroacetic acid (CAS 79-11-8) an EC50 72h value for growth rate was determined, which lays in the range 0,01 < L(E)C50 < 0,1 and an NOEC 72h value for grwoth rate was determined which lays in the range 0,001 < NOEC < 0,01.
