Initially 250mgof the test article, at a temperature of 373°C and an atmospheric pressure of 1010 mbar were tested.

An ignition with the hot flame was not observed under these conditions.

The temperature was then increased at 50°C intervals until a maximum of 600°C, but no auto-ignition behaviour was noted.

The test was then repeated with reduced quantity of the test article of 50, 70, 100, 150 and 200mg, at a temperature of 600°C and an atmospheric pressure of 1010 mbarbut no auto-ignition phenomena were noted.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
From the experimental data obtained according to the guideline A.15 in Official Journal L 383 Part A, it can be concluded that the sample of Amorphophallus Campanulatus Dry Purified Extract does not present auto-ignition behaviour until 600°C.
