Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 104 and EU Method A.4 under GLP conditions using a vapour pressure balance. All methodology and results were reported in full. The study was therefore assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles for assessing data quality as described by Klimisch et al. (1997).

Two definitive sequences of runs were performed after the sample of the test material had been under vacuum for approximately 19½ hours and 68 hours for the 25 °C and the 50 °C determinations, respectively. Temperature and pressure readings were taken between 20 to 30 °C and 45 to 55 °C both in 1 °C steps with a one hour dwell at the lower temperatures for direct measurements at 25 °C and 50 °C, respectively.

Under the conditions of the test, the vapour pressure of the test material at 25 °C was determined to be 0.0335 Pa and 0.357 Pa at 50 °C. The test material was found not to decompose.
