Description of key information
In accordance with Section 1 of REACH Annex XI, flammability testing does not appear scientifically necessary. The substance is a liquid; hence determination of flash point is appropriate in preference to a flammability (solids) study. Furthermore, based on chemical structure and experience in use, water reactivity and pyrophoricity are not to be expected and hence testing does not appear scientifically necessary.

Justification for classification or non-classification
In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to flammability.
